Screen v2.1
July 7th, 2020
CPU usage has gotten a complete overhaul. You should now see far lower CPU usage when screen sharing, without a noticeable performance drop.
Additionally, if you want to remove CPU throttling and get all the raw power of your computer, disable the new
Reduce power on user inactivity
option from within Settings, and you'll get full frame rate screen sharing (useful if you're screen sharing a video, for instance).
Scrolling has been improved (particularly with Windows and Linux).
Two major causes of frozen screen sharing have also been fixed.

Other fixes:
  • Linux duplicate keyboard issues should be fixed

Screen v1.2 (Tuesday, May 19th, 2020)
Since we launched our public beta, our top priority has been on the core product experience, namely:
  • Everyone should be able to see and hear each other clearly, and screen share quality should be better than any other product out there
  • For many users, this wasn't the case. For them, video quality was blurry, text was sometimes unreadable, and there was a lot of lag.
After a lot of work, we believe we’ve
